Scott Martin received his Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 1992. He subsequently spent several years as an account executive and product specialist with FirstEnergy Corporation during the advent of deregulation of the electric power industry, winning the FirstEnergy Circle of Excellence award in 1999.

In 2001, Scott transitioned Mesmerize Media from a side-project to a full-time career. Beginning with a few small local clients, he eventually grew to work with globally recognized companies (Moen Incorporated, the Cleveland Clinic), educational institutions (Case Western Reserve University), as well as numerous mid-size and entrepreneurial clients both in the United States and abroad.

In addition to designing application architecture and writing code, Scott pursues a number of creative pursuits. For over two decades he has been the keyboardist/vocalist for the award-winning northeast Ohio band Skinny Moo, performing up to 50 times per year at venues like Quicken Loans Arena, the Hard Rock Rocksino, the Fox 8 Morning show and more. He has also written, produced and recorded numerous original albums with multiple groups, and designed album packaging and marketing materials for those projects.

Scott has also been involved in Team in Training since 2005, completing five century rides (100-mile bicycle rides), a triathlon and a half-marathon while raising money for Leukemia research and patient services.
